I love my job.
I helped a student negotiate a higher grade on the first essay of the semester with one of the other TAs because it was unreasonably low. I emailed him about it last night and he responded today.
He signed it, “Yours always and forever”.
I absolutely love working with college kids.
I'm the happiest and luckiest girl in the world.

My boy asked me what he could do since I wasn’t feeling well.
I told him that I wanted him to write his three papers and finish his homework and then to come snuggle me.
His response?
“As you wish.”
Sleepy time she comes.

Cloudy weather.
Instead of venturing outside and up to campus to sit in a stuffy room with no windows…
I’m turning the heat on, putting on sweats, opening the blinds, and cozy-ing up with a blanket and movie to grade papers and finish assignments.
The only thing that would make this better is if there was a certain boy here, but he’s in New York by now.

Homecoming.
I had SO much fun walking in the Homecoming Parade, with complete strangers. We gave out fliers for Women’s Services and Resources and candy to the little kids. Changed my mind. I do care if I fail this test tomorrow. I even thought about dropping the class. But guess what? If I drop this class I will fall below the number of credits to be a full-time student and I will lose both of my jobs. So that’s not an option. I don’t want to do school anymore. I’ve been doing school for 12 months straight. SO BURNT OUT. Most of my classes aren’t even in my major. I think the only one I really care about is tap. Whoops.
I want to work with people rather than sit in a room and read a textbook by myself all day. My TA job is awesome because I get to meet with students and help them learn to write...

I love Sundays.
I love going to church and the way it makes me feel. I need it every week to get through whatever happens. I’ve been going to the temple once a week as well and it makes me want to go more and all-around just be a better person. I love what my church teaches and how my life gets better when I follow what I know to be right.
I feel great today. I wish I could feel this way every day. :)
